I want them! Bad!

However I don't want them badly enough to pay that price.  Sad Silver is hitting highs now. I might pay $27/oz for those coins. Hey - do you all think silver is going higher or lower?

Me? I think it is going both higher and lower. I'm hoping for lower first, higher later.  Cool

 Grin

The APMEX price may be the most reasonable!  I would reserve the max sets allowed,
and sit back.  Silver will suffer some loss at the first of the year; in the middle of Q1, we
shall see silver approaching $30 and then, $36.00+...  Inevitable...

 Cry

I spent too long vacillating whether or not to order a set from APMEX.

For those who were sorta watching this, at it's periphery, APMEX sold their

allotted 1,000 sets in a mere 19 hours!  I have instructed their computer to

send me notification if, and when, they receive more sets to sell.  You can

be sure tho, the price will not be $1,395.00 for any future sales.  Oh well.

What's that old saying...Win some, lose some?  It's not quite the same, is it?

Are you goin to get a set Bubble head ?

Yes.  I will wait for the next offering by APMEX.  Surely, this first set, so much a

change from their normal junk, I mean......  FIVE ounces??  And, a first issue, so

we can't afford the follow-ons?  With silver jumpin' around, the grandkids will surely

sell them one day at melt, and pay for a year's books!

I refuse to participate in this sham set up by political action committees working their "magic" on those hapless individuals elected to Congress.
If they are so damned interested in selling silver to the general population then they should have addressed the 2009 Silver Eagle proofs instead of this sham.

I pity the poor bas***rds that pay upwards of $4,000 for this first set of five as the price will never hold up over the long run.

Then watch folks b!tch!

Boy Howdy, do I agree with you there!  I have, since first posting, due to follow-on
information think that there were shenannigans behind the scenes, and I have
decided to not purchase them....  Unless, and when, they return to a reasonable
price..

I see that at least one of the AP's are now offering these coins for a smidge over spot and charging $88 for shipping.

Has the over inflated market on these finally dried up?

Maybe not since there are a lot of folks that are buried in these and simply not ready to admit it!
