My Coinstar machine (at my local supermarket) is not as bountiful as other people's. I did pick up a 1982 Canadian dime today. Small potatoes but I'm happy none the less.

My last coinstar find was simply a regular clad dime which promptly went into the beggars cup!

I can't even find a coinstar machine never mind any silver rejects.

I found that if you g"""gle coinstar you can find maps of coinstar locations.
Too far from me to go to check the coin reject slot, but might work for someone.

I always check out the CS at Vons; here is today's finds:

a bunch of lincoln pennies...10 or more...I didn't count them....

a couple of roosevelt dimes and

a parking token from a parking structure (EPS) in Valencia...

Apparently, there are also Coinstar machines in the U.K. as well, but I'm not sure if they can be found up in Canada.

We have nothing like that over here in New Zealand.

HUGE payoff today at the Vons CS; I had to get a plastic bag from the produce dept to put them in:

Quarter - 1

Dimes - 24, wow!

Nickels - 17, wow!

Pennies - this time I decided to count them - 26, wow!

11 cents - a dime and a penny stuck together with tar?

Canadian: dimes, 3; nickel, 1

Some coins have sticky "goos"  stuck to them, hence CS rejected them.

My biggest CS haul yet. Grin

Holey moley!!!! That is an incredible find. Congratulations.

Just yesterday I say a cent on the floor but someone was standing there and I didn't want to hang around waiting for them to move. Smiley
