Aw, there is some color in that rim toning! I think it will develop nicely as time goes buy.
As to the right Dansco a fresh one seems to work better than one stored in the open for years. Some people sprinkle a few drops of water on the pages.

I have unconfirmed information, from two different coin people, that a paper towel soaked in ammonia, wrung out,
smoothed out, and placed between Dansco pages, will generate a reaction that causes rapid muddy, but with
blue, toning beginning at the outside edges and working in. It was surmised that 2-3 years would be necessary
to tone entire coins.. Do we need "Myth Busters?"
