Around 2000 my Proof Jefferson nickel set was #1 in the PCGS Registry. Can you still get your name on #1 sets? Anyway at that time you could and I did. Smiley

 Roll Eyes

We have (4) sets that qualify for a free pedigree.  I often wonder if having Mom and
Dad's, or Grandpa, or Grandma's name on a set of slabs would encourage the
kids to keep them?      ...

..."Paulette's Pretty's?" ...  "Jerry's Jewels?"

And, yes..  Pedigree sets are still around.  I dunno if the rules have changed since Carl pedigreed his set, but they still need to be in the top 5, over 90% complete, and nothing modern, I think...

OH YEAH! Wink

Speaking of the Wohlforth proof nickels an old friend of mine sold for $1,000 last week on TeleTrade (http://www.teletrade.com/coins/lot.asp?auction=2756&lot=1452).

I verified with BJ that my IKE sets can get pedigreed. I don't think they will pedigree modern "mint or proof" sets.

 Wink

Yeah...That's pretty cool about the Ike's....

Our four sets are mint sets from the 40's.  I need to ask for my freebie set grades,
too.  I keep forgetting we can get them.
