 Shocked

Wow.   Has anyone else here done any investigation, or even looked at these quarters?

I was browsing eBay earlier, spotted some MN SQ's with varied DDR's, DDO's, etc., and
since their prices seemed astronomical to me, I did some further checking.

I ended up at the PCGS Washington State Quarter Registry. Immediately, I noticed a
special registry set for this state, ALONE!  Huh?  Yes!

There is a specialty registry set, composed of no less than (74), Yes, Seventy-Four,
different varieties!  Holy Toledo!

Comments, anyone??      Huh

Wow! Sounds like a good time to go through some MN quarters. Smiley

Really though, how could the Mint have let so many varieties through?

 Huh

That's the question, Carl.  How could this have happened?  I mean, it's
sooooo singular; that to me anyway, it would seem as tho mint workers had something
to do generating the myriad die varities discovered!

I now wonder if dates and times of minting might be super important?  I want to dig around,
to see if that assumption carry's any weight!

I wonder...were I to ask the eBay seller, who is offering the majority of them, if he/she
is aware of any particular dates and times of minting, directed to any particular variety?

They would not say, huh?  Figures.  I probably would not, myself...  And for now,
I would but recommend anyone holding these SQ's, to lock 'em up for now!!

There are (7) collectors who have, to now, registered this set in the registry.  The
No. 4 set belongs to the eBay seller who lists a majority of the different varieties.

FWIW... Wink
