I've always liked UK currency for the color!  Your first sample, the vertical currency, looks
interesting to me.  I doubt we'll ever see anything even close to either designs, tho.

I like our new bills and think the dollar should follow along in a similar vein. The vertical designs are very well done and would be super for Savings Bonds or something like that.

In my opinion Dollars should look like the attached photo. People use plastic more and more and not too long from now will not even use that, they will wave their phone near a scanner, or maybe just authorize with voice and their face and voice prints will uniquely identify them. Cheesy
