1) This forum welcomes the public.

2) Crude, rude, vulgar or obscene posts will be removed, the poster publicly warned and repeat offender's accounts will be deactivated.

3) Our posters may disagree with others but don't act like babies by attacking each other, they politely discuss the issue or agree to disagree.

4) We promote the sharing of facts and discussion of opinions. Individuals who post here are responsible for supporting any statement of fact. This forum can not research every opinion so can not and will not make judgments on issues of slander. In fact we cannot monitor every post so would appreciate hearing about offensive posts privately (use the PM feature).

5) This category is about coins. If you post here about anything else be aware, your post might get moved to another category without WARNING!

6) This forum is sponsored by Carl's Coins. If you want to discuss us or any other coin dealer please, by all means, go ahead. You may also discuss any 3'rd party certification service.

7) If you don't like any of these rules please reply and state your case. We may or may not change them.

Cool MOST IMPORTANTLY: Enjoy, have fun and honor the golden rule. Smiley

Gee even bear over at the PCGS forums was disturbed by the tone of their new posting rules. He expressed his unease in a well written post. I have always liked him and like him now more than ever.

From my point of view, speaking as a guy who runs a much more reasonable forum and who would welcome new members, I hope PCGS closes their forum or at least starts charging for it. Tongue

These rules are very disappointing.

I can not find anything within them, nor the manner in which they are presented, that may deemed provocative and hence lead to some great drama.

You may want to consider adding something unreasonable or else try presenting them in more confrontional tone.

That sounds like Franks forum. I don't go there anymore and haven't for a couple of years.
