I've been buying quite a bit of 90% silver coins and some gold coins:

1. Bought 400 90% silver roosies,

2. Same seller above thought that I paid strong. so later he sold me 53 rolls of 90% roosies,

3. A 2nd repeat seller sold me a 1913 Injun qtr eagle along with a few 90% mercs and some Morgan silver dollars.

4. A third repeat seller sold me a couple of Austria Korona gold coins.

Last winter I picked up a few hundred ounces of silver from CL for $9/oz from 2 diff people. Same guy also sold me a bag of Canadian coins for 50% face value. I sold a lot of 500 Ike dollars for $700. Traded a few Morgan dollars for a .38 special. Traded some 90% for .999 silver bars. I sold a 50 oz and a few 10 oz bars to a guy for $17/oz when silver was $15. I've had good luck with Craigslist.

update on another CL (craigslist) buy:

another previous (happy) seller contacted me and said he had some gold jewelry for sale;

we met, and I bought the following for a grad total of......drum roll..........$sixty bucks, seller's ask price:

an 8 inch, 14K bracelet, app. 1/4 ounce

a 14 inch, 14K necklace, app. 1/4 ounce

a 3/4 inch long 18K!! cross, maybe 2-3 grams of gold,

a 14K ear ring, maybe 3-4 grams gold,

a 14K 1/2 heart shape "thingie" for a necklace 1-2 grams gold?

a 9 inch 10K! bracelet mixed with other stones, 3-4 grams of gold? and lastly,

an 8 inch 14K bracelet mixed with some green stones, 4-5 grams of gold?

not a bad haul for CL

guys, CL is a good source of PMs if one is patient and persistent.

Cheesy
