1. I sold 400 90% silver roosies to a buyer via CUs BST,

2. Later the same buyer bought 40 rolls of 90% silver roosies.

Apparently he was happy with the first deal and decided to buy more.

We're both happy campers Smiley

I've done lots of good business on the CU BST over the last eight years.  Can't recall ever getting burned there, either (though there have been one or two small near-misses).

Usually free selling venues aren't so hot because nobody sees them, but the CU BST forum is free AND gets a lot of eyeball traffic.  That's a good thing.

I've had good luck selling there. I've never bought anything because I get tired of looking through the maze. I strongly feel that the BST should be for paying members only. JMO

Good transactions both selling and buying.

If you have an in "demand" item at a fair price it usually sells quickly. With the proper wait times for checks/money orders to clear (10 business days) or payment via paypal, is a less risky venue for sellers than Ebay.

I've used the BST many times, earlier this year quite successful, but lately seems a little slow, but I have never had anything but a successful purchase and smooth transaction. Had one sale returned but refunded it and moved on.

I've had a Lot of good transactions on the BST. I like to sell bullion there to avoid fees on eBay. Normally sells quick if priced right. Best thing is you don't have to worry about people saying they didn't get what they purchased like the scammers on eBay.

I've had only minimal luck in selling stuff on that Forum.

Lately I've offered some low pop Kennedy Clad DDO's with absolutely no responses.

 Embarrassed

I've also experienced minimal interest, and very few transactions.  I sold 50+
empty Ike Brown Boxes, a scant couple of days before I planned to jam 'em
in our blue recycling container.  I also sold an old 1921 (mm-ukn) Morgan that
was encased in an old silver FOB thingy... Old fashioned engraving, looked too
difficult to remove from the silver case... Even if the rev had been Gem BU,
I wudda managed to ruin the rims digging, or prying it out....Got melt for it, tho.

I always ask too much money for my coins.  I guess that's why I do not do well.
I am old fashioned, I guess, 'cause I always believe someone will touch base
with me with their counter offer.  Hmmmm?  Nebbah Hotchie, tho! Wink

I only have praise for the CU BST. I have had several smoothe transactions. I once bought a coin and it took me two days to get the check mailed. The coin arrived on the third day! Seller shipped before he received payment!!!! I felt bad I didn't mail the check sooner. The CU BST may not always have what you want or be at the right price, but the sellers are professional and trustworthy.
