 Rifle season began here in Maine Oct. 31. It may be an unusual season as the rut may already have gotten underway, or it could be very late in the month. The moon cycles play a role in the estrus of the does and mating happens at this time and the full moon is monday Nov. 2.
Do any of you hunters use an attractant to attract a buck, such as "Doe in Heat" or something else?
What do you use to hunt with? Rifle, shotgun, bow or muzzle loader?
