Smart phones are too tiny for me. I can't press the keys accurately no matter if the keys are virtual or real. I don't really like touch screens because finger smudges drive me crazy, it is a pet peeve of mine. Still I would rather have an iPad than an iPhone, at least if I was planning on paying for unlimited Internet connections via Cell Phone networks. AT&T is offering that service for $30/month.

It has bluetooth connectivity so I'm betting you could get one of those hands free bluetooth devices that hang on your ear and use this thing as a cell phone. I like that idea.

At over $800 for the high end model including Cell Phone connectivity it is too expensive. There is no keyboard, mouse or anything but the box. That makes it cheaper! I'll bet lots of people buy it. Maybe I'll get one rather than a new phone in a couple of years. Should be a lot cheaper by then!

If anyone buys one please tell us about it.

My mom has the iphone it is pretty neat. but i heard about the ipad I thought it looks sweet and its a neat idea but the only disadvantages with it are you cant fit it in your pocket and it costs about 500 bucks.

Yup, can't fit it in your pocket. Sometimes I wish I carried a purse. Smiley

Still Amazon has sold a whole bunch of those Kindles. Why buy a single purpose, black and white, Kindle when you can buy an iPad that plays movies in color as well as everything the iPhone does and also read books? I agree it is too pricey for me. I think Apple will do well with it assuming it is as easy to use at their iPod and iPhone.
