I was driving my 1989 buick regal to get a bite to eat at the KFC.

After eating I decided to go get some things from the local 99.9999 cent or a buck a piece store.

I took a short cut via a gas station. As I was exiting the station to turn right, I heard an awful crunching
sound. My radio was turned off, I wasn't using my cell phone, the car was too old to have a CD, and I
was no where near and industrial area. So what could it be?

As I exited the car, I saw a mini SUV next to me. The lady of the SUV blurted out, I didn't see you, you
were driving too fast. I thought to myself, yeah lady, this is the indie 500 and I'm peeling my tires to
exit a gas station to a major street.

Then I noticed that here front wheels were turn to the right and mine were pointed straight. Her car was
leaking anti-freeze.

Eureka! an auto accident at a Chevron station. I saw that her right front bumper had made contact with my
driver side front quarter panel and part of the door. I told the lady that from the physical damages it was
her fault. She again blurted I didn't see you, you were driving too fast...yeah right.

Bottom line, I reported the accident to Geico & State Farm. While she waited for weeks to give her version
of the incident to State Farm. Geico concluded that the accident was no my fault. State Farm later mailed me
a check for twice what the car was worth in exchange for the clunker.

The rest of the story: I almost immediately used to proceeds to buy a 1997 buick le sabre via CL. Of course
I had to chip in a few bucks to buy a 12 year old car (it has a CD player), and smells like a new car.
