Is EBAY a good buy? I'm talking about the stock...

They take a more out of each sale than I do! I don't think they will dramatically grow their eBay business. But I am thinking that PayPal is a contender for the mobile phone payment biz. That is small now but has the potential to compete with credit cards. If PayPal gets to 20% the size of Visa eBay will be worth much, much more than it is now. Thoughts?

Ooooohhh.....  Carl, I think you are on to something!   It's gonna be HUGE, for sure. 

What is the street cost now?  I must check.  It could be that the five boys are college
bound because of a PayPal explosion?!

Well, shoot.... Just checked eBay stock...  

It's $34.25 as I speak.  52 week low @ $20.00, Hi @ $35.00...  So, it's
playing footsie with this years high.  Hmmm?  The P/E models look good.

But, I am far more delighted to note that my "TravelZoo" stock, given to
me gratis, 10+ years ago, when it was considered a penny stock, has
taken off!

Our Ed Jones rep, at the time, refused to buy more for us as then, it was less
than $1.00 per share....

Well... I had to sit down rather quickly... Those six shares of Travel Zoo
stock are now valued at $61.06 per share...  No wonder our broker has
been uncommunicative, unresponsive, and nearly rude to us, of late!  

I had chided him, and his company, for shunning penny stocks!

Oh my..Had I only taken time to find a broker who would have worked with us!
