Does anyone have a good feel for what may happen with precious metals, should
congress not deal with subj problem in time? 

Perhaps a quick hoarding of modern gold and silver eagles might be worthwhile?

Good thought, perhaps a week late. Gold jumped $80 in the last 3 days! Silver took on a couple bucks too. Bernanke helped by hinting the Fed might buy more bonds (sort of like printing more cash).
