I've been a Mopar man but not a real loyal one. I owned a Toyota truck once, it was ok, not great. It was definitely more reliable and better built than the Dodge Dakota R/T I have now. We have a Honda too and like that one.

This recall is going to cost Toyota a lot! More than just money it will hurt their reputation. Ford seems to be going strong and will introduce some European designed models that are very well thought of by the automotive press.

I hope my mothers 2nd husband buys a faulty one and the pedal sticks long enough to have the car reach 130 mph and slams into a bridge abutment, just saying.

This is crazy lol now there saying that its more than just a acceleration problem its but an alignment of complicated interconnected conditions. I hope toyota lose a lot of money and people stop buying there crappy cars and go with different brands such as General motors I am sad that GM shut down the ponatic branch they made such nice cars.

I don't think it is a big deal. Remember the Audi 5000? Same problem. It almost sank the company. My mechanic friend bought one during that frenzy. Boy did he get a good deal! They will fix these up starting next week.
