 Cry

My youngest and her husband are losing their house.  His unemployment ran
out a short time ago, too.  Partly their fault.  I told them to go easy taking
money out of the house, and to stay away from an arm.  Well, they took
out a bunch, bought some toys, did not pay bills, and then the job mkt
fell for him, and now they are looking for a decent rental.....

My kids house was foreclosed upon too. Fortunately the house sold last week and they got out from under that. They moved into a farm house with a big barn, have a 1 year lease and yesterday the owner says he wants to move back in. The lease only began in March.

Now that sucks!   The kids found a rental.  The couple are moving to Sweden to care
for her parents.  They are not using a realtor. The rent is 1.6K.. 3BDRM, 2.5BA, fenced yard
w/2 car garage with wooden door.   Since the kid does not have a job yet, the owners are
asking for SIX months rent in advance.  Huh?  They have it, but I'm worried that it's a scam
of sorts...  They'll be moving in, and some bank loan mgr will stop by and ask who they are?
"Oh, the owner's are in Sweden?"  Yeah, sure...

But, the other kid called yesterday wanting to borrow some money because he and his starter wife found a great apt. and they needed advance rent. The two of them make great money but spend every dime instead of tucking some away.

My wife and I were unemployed for quite a while - all of 2009 and more. Finally we both found new jobs at reduced salaries. The good news is my teenage daughter found her first job - intern at a science camp - in one of the toughest job markets in our lives.

 Wink

Jeez...  Sounds like deja vu to me.  Where, oh where, have I heard the same.... Oh, hark!  Just last month the sister called, and.......

Yup..

When I left home, I really went far, far, away...  I sometimes wonder that neither of my girls were blessed with their father's
Gypsy gene!     I also never returned.  I believed in an old adage that went something like "You cannot go home..or back?"  or
similar...

We must go on.....    Kiss

Carl, your daughter's landing such a great summer position, speaks wonders of her upbringing, talent,
character, and personality.  It will also add a priceless positive, when it's time for her to submit her college application resume!

You are blessed!    Kiss
