How many feel it's proper to see coins on the Internet and use them as if they were yours?

Who is? It would not bother me but if they are claiming it as there own or trying to sell it then it is a problem

It could be the case that he really did buy (or was given) that particular set. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. There aren't all that many no S sets around.

I don't think it is good form to copy most Internet photos. If you get them from a copyright free source like Wiki Commons then it is fine or if you have permission from the author.

When I see that particular coin still for sale then I have to ask myself who the deceitful one is, the one that says he owns the coin or the one that is selling the coin.
Either way it now looks bad for the seller and the one that is making his claim of ownership.

He's not trying to sell it but just saying it's from a relative when that's not true, he even doctors the coin to say it's something else.
