some SOB used my debit card number and bought something at a Brooklyn N Y Radio Shack to the tune of $571.68. I probably would not have known if Card Services hadn't called because the purchase was flagged. Now I have to see if I can get the charges reversed and get my money back.

Still don't have it resolved. And the lady at the bank didn't sound too hopeful on the phone either.

Did you get all your money back? I haven't got a dime back yet.

I never paid. The bill was larger than normal, I checked closely and noticed purchases that weren't mine. I called and that was that.

Credit card? They used my debit card number and I guess there is also a difference from a personal debit card and one used for business, such as mine.

Got a letter from the bank telling me they need up to 90 days for the investigation. WTF? They were the ones that told me there was fraudulent activity the day it happened.

It took 36 days but I did get all my money back. The gal at the bank says the store that accepted the bogus card will be liable for the money.

My citi card just got hacked!!!  Shocked

Lots of charges to Microsoft XBOX LIVE, starting at $4.99 then getting larger and larger. Finally some charges to another company. By the time I noticed (when my bill arrived) Microsoft had noticed and already credited me for some of it. I called Citi, they canceled my card, will send another and assure me I won't be charged.

Still, no fun! This is the 2nd time in my life.

I decided I will use cash more often, it is still widely accepted. Just thinking, maybe to shake things up a little I will spread some $2 bills around.
