Heck yeah. I hate it when they put up sound walls along the highways here. You can't see what is in anybody's yards!

If there is a light on in the house, I probably do it unconsciously.  I think its kind of like looking into the window of the car next to you when you are at a stop light.  You do it occasionally without even thinking about it.

Houses are too far back and few between here for auto night gazing.

When we drive into the big city most people have their curtain drawns so getting out to look is a waste of time never mind looking while driving.

There is an article in the New York Times about watching other people's lives from your window. You really can't avoid it if you live in a city like that one.
