Welcome Aidan! It is great to have you aboard. I certainly will ask questions about Commonwealth items as they come along.

Jerr,
The Kiwi is New Zealand's national bird.

A majority of New Zealanders remain very loyal to the British monarchy, although there is a republican minority that favours appeasing the Maori Nationalists with some extremely morally repugnant policies.

Grin  Aidan, Thanks for that.  I knew the term Kiwi referred to something attached to the
dominion, but wasn't too awfully certain what!  Old shipmates of mine, passing thru
on their way further south, would often speak of your Kiwi's.... I didn't figure they meant
that brown, fuzzy, fruit...or did I?   Actually, I thought they were referring to the local birds of another feather!

Take care...

Check out my numismatic photos on both http://www.banknotebank.com/collection/BCNumismatics & http://www.omnicoin.com/collection/BCNumismatics .

I have been uploading a lot of photos to http://www.allnumis.com , http://www.coinbrag.com ,& http://www.numista.com lately.

I have got some more British Commonwealth banknotes & postal orders coming in the next month or so,so I will get more photos uploaded in due course.

I am going to be buying Windows 7 next week, but I haven't found a program to replace Arcsoft Photostudio 5.5 (which isn't compatible with Windows 7) to power my Canon CanoScan LiDE 25 flat-bed scanner (which IS compatible with Windows 7) yet.
