More than 150 new members have joined Carl's Coins very recently!  All reflect hidden
contact info, and none of them have bothered to post.  Is it possible that there are
so many robot programs flitting about the Internet, as a hummingbird in spring,
depositing their droppings hither and yon?  If so many of these programs can
attach themselves to just Carl's place, just think of the enormity of it!

It's mind boggling, to be sure!  What could possibly be their purpose?  A few have
means to other websites, I can understand that... Spamming... But, when these
phantom new members just alight, w/o a purpose, it confuses an old man.

Much like most things these days.  I was taught vacuum tubes, and somehow, somewhere,
I was left in the dust..

You're not wrong about spammers being a pain in the ass.

There must be some way to defeat them from being able to join up,such as installing a CAPTCHA program to force those who are registering to answer questions & enter a code.
